NEW! J.154. Very nice German WWII Naval Officers Pocket / Wrist Watch. Many German and Swiss timepiece makers manufactured watches for the WWII German military. One of them, DOXA, made time pieces for the German Navy (Kriegsmarine). This specific watch is both a pocket watch and a large wrist watch. The porcelein face is hall marked DOXA and has the Kriegsmarine emblem logo,U-Boot Kiel and the issue serial number, 5291N.The watch crystal measures 1 7/8" across. This time piece has been cleaned, oiled and equipped with a new leather wrist band. The watch is 15 jewels, serial numbered 2320289, has a three (3) piece hinged case, 24 hour arabic watch face numerals. It is in very good vintage condition. A rare find and reasonably priced at........

J.137. Very nice WWI bracelet made out of a shell fuse ring which was then gilded. The bracelet center piece is a mounted miniture enamel and silver Iron Cross 1st Class with two (2) separately mounted gold oakleaf sprigs framing the Cross. The bracelet's hinge and hasp workings were professionaly done. There is an inscription on the inside band "von Deinen Bruder Otto." This is a very nice WWI patriotic jewelry piece.............

J.142. Very nice WHW issued animal series pin, the Rabbit. These were issued and given to the Jungen League members. It measures an 1 5.8" long, is made of plastic and has a large blue/black half ball glass eye. There is no hall mark on the pin back side. Very scarce............

J.138. Very nice Japanese metal sake cup. The cup is 3 1/16" in diameter and is mounted on a silver pedestal making the cup 1" in height. The cup's interior has a raised relief consisting of two flags, one an Imperial Japanese Naval flag (Raising Sun)and the other a Naval Anchor logo flag. Between both flag pole tops is a hawk with extended wings. Below the hawk is a shield with Japanese knaji charactors. Below that is a wreath garland. The cup celebrates Japan's victory at Port Arthur over the Russians, 1904-05. The majority of silver plate remains on the interior and exterior. On the exterior cup top there are Japanese kanji charactors all away around the perimeter. This is a very nice, historic and rare Japanese celebratory sake cup.............

J.147. Very nice condition sterling silver Japanese Imperial Navy saki cup trophy. The cup measures 4" across by 1 1/4+" high. The silver saucer (cup) is mounted on a silver pedestal. The cup's center has a raised silver Imperial Japanese anchor logo with superimposed mum. The underneath lip of the cup has Japanese Kanji characters. The cup is hall marked and has the silver content, all this within the pedestal area. This is a unique and scarce find.........................

The cup's interior logo is that of the crest of the Emperor. The cup is hall marked and has Kanji characters around the bottom lip. It is in very fine condition...................

J.149. Very nice Japanese Army silver saki cup issued to commemorate the Japanese victory over the Russian forces in the 1904 war. The cup measures 3" across and 1" high. The cup's saucer is mounted on a silver pedestal. The cup's saucer bottom has an Imperial Rising Sun flag mounted on a pole, sword, raised flowers and many Japanese Kanji characters. Along the saucer's exterior lip are more characters. The 105 year old cup is most eye appealing and is historic in nature..................

J.150. Very nice Japanese silver saki cup issued to commemorate the Japanese - China Mancherian incident in the late 1930s which led to Japan's full invasion of China. The cup's dimensions are 3" across by1/2" high with the cup's saucer mounted on a silver pedestal. The cup's bowl design has both the Japanese national flag crossed with the Rising Sun flag with kanji characters beneath. Around the interior lip is a large raised wreath. The cup is heavy for it's size, is in good condition and needs an appreciative home...................

J.151. Very nice large silver hall marked Japanese saki cup. The cup measures 3 5/8" across by 1" high with the cup's bowl mounted on a silver pedestal. The exterior lip of the saucer has engraved Japanese Kanji characters. The interior seems to have had a gold wash with silver kanji characters engraved on the bottom of the saucer. The saki cup is in good condition and appears to be a military trophy cup award..........................

NEW! J.153. Great Britain, British Army, WWI. Very nice sterling silver double hall marked presentation cup for the Kings Rifles Regiment. The cup has a sterling silver crossed rifles logo superimposed on the cup. The cup is 2 7/8" high with a mouth 2" across. The cup has bowl rounded sides. There are two hall marks on the exterior bottom, one with a C over F within a vertical ovoid; and, the other a castle logo with the number 22 below. The cup has several minor dents from usage and storage. This is a very nice piece of militaria sterling...............

NEW! J.155. Very nice Das Reich Waffen SS set of four (4) silver (835) schnapps beckers and their corresponding hand service tray. Each cup is identical with the Eagle profile logo with Runes and 1939 Iron Cross. Each cup is hall marked as a set and were made by Wellor. The individual beckers also has engraving on the back with large initials TR. Under the TR was also engraving that was burnished off professionally sometime in the past. There are faint initials on each. The becker(s) are 1 5'/"+ high with the mouth opening 1 3/8" across. The tray is also engraved with the same logo and is also hallmarked and has the silver content 835. The tray is 4"- across. This set was obtained in 1991 while living in Berlin, Germany. Very unique, original SS period piece.................

J.77 . Very nice 5 7/8" silver coffee/dessert spoon manufactured by the well-known German firm of Wellner. The spoon has the Wellner elephant logo, is all silver and has the pattern number 22 with the spoon handle end having the split tail design. This is a very nice item....

J.119. Very nice WWII U.S. Navy officer's mess 8 5/8” silver serving spoon(s). The spoon has the initial U.S.N. stamped on the back of the handle and the Navy anchor logo emblem on the top front of the handle. The spoon is quite ornate being the Columbia (Spanish American War era) design and is hall marked with a crown (manufacturer's logo). They were salvaged from the U.S.S Coolidge, sunk by a mine while at anchor off Espiritu Santo. One spoon…$25, a set of identical spoons..............

J.126. Very nice WWII U.S. Navy officer's mess silver serving platter (18 ¾’ by 14” by 1 ½”). The platter has a very nice USN anchor logo and service branch initials on one side of the platter's interior lip. The platter is hall marked International Silver Co., Silver Soldered, 1305, 18 INCH, “boxed” number 41. This is a very nice vet bring back and it's pattern matches the two gravy boats listed separately..............

J.130. Very nice WWII era silver ship's officers’ mess gravy boat. The server is oval in shape with the pedestal being 8 1/8” wide by 5 ¾’. The oval mounted silver bowl is 6 ¼” wide by 4”. From bottom to the top lip of the bowl is 3 1/8”. This service ware is hall marked Smith Silver Co., Bridgeport, Conn., Silver Soldered. This salvaged server is in very nice condition..............

J.85. Very nice 6 ½" German Kriegsmarine beer glass WW I era. The glass has a gold rim and a large glass base. The glass has a large black, white and red horizontal strip flag decal waving over e decal of the Neue Signal Station building at wharf side. There is a German naval ship under steam in the back ground. The glass has "Andenken an Wilhelmshaven" printed in the blue sky over the above described scene. A very nice era commemorative sailor's beer glass in very good condition...........

J.88. Very nice 5.5" tall German navy WWI era beer glass. The glass has remnants of a gold rim and a beautiful flag pole with a waving Imperial German naval battle flag. A green wreath is hung from the flag pole's finial. There is a raised enamel slogan below the flag "In Treue Fest!". This is another very nice commemorative naval glass......

J.97. Very nice six inch(6") tall, three inch(3") mouth WWI German beer glass from Kiel. The glass has a gold banner with Gruss aus Kiel or Greeting from Kiel. The horizontal banner is superimposed over a Kriegsmarne flag pole flying the naval battle flag. Also there is a very nice gold oak leaf branch painted in the back ground. The glass is in good condition........

J.108. Very nice porcelain WWI German "patriotische" demi-tasse cup and saucer set. The cup's interior has a very nice Iron Cross 2nd Class on the bottom surrounded by a lovely acorn oak wreath. The cup is 3-" across the top and almost 2" high. The cup has a green script hall mark "Herbena". The matching saucer is 4.5" across. Both pieces are in very fine condition. Early WWI production - quite scarce..............

J.109.Very nice WWI porcelain "patriotische" demi-tasse set. The cup is dated 1914-15 and has the Prussian eagle log with the Imperial war flag to one side and the national black, white and red striped flag on the right. The cup's dimensions' are 2 1/4" across by 1 3/4" high. The cup has the hall mark and crest logo of P. T., Bavaria and is numbered 70404 and is in fine condition. The matching saucer is 4 1/4" across and had a black painted rim line as does the cup. A scarce set and very nice condition............

J.110.WWI coffee cup/saucer set commemorating "Aus grosser zeit Weltkrieg 1914/15". The coffee cup has a large Iron Cross 1st Class logo enclosed in a oakleaf and acorn wreath. The cup is 2 1/2 " high and 2 1/2 " across at the mouth. The cup has a red and black stripe rim bands. The saucer is 5 3/4" in diameter and also has the same rim band design. The saucer is hall marked P.T with the shield crest logo and Bavaria. The set is in very nice condition and is quite scarce..................

The cups' dimensions are 3 3/8s" across by 2 1/4" high. The saucer is 5 1/8" in diameter. The cup has a orange manufacturer's logo consisting circle with a profile of an eagle in the top left quadrant and below 5 Fx (?) and 5. This is a very nice ensemble.........

J.112.Very elegant WWI German "patriotische" coffe cup and matching saucer. Both are porcelain made by H & C Heinrich, Bavaria and Handmalet ( hand painted) in Danmark. The gold rim saucer is 6 1/8" in diameter. The matching coffee cup is also hall marked Thomas, Bavaria and is numbered 212/2225 2142. The cup's pedestal base has a large gold rim as does the top of the cup's interior and handle exterior. The cup has a large logo of the 1914 Iron Cross with the Prussian crown above it. The cross has a semi wreath around it and the black script slogan "Gott war mit uns, Ihm sei die Ehre!, below. The cup is 4 1/2" high with the mouth diameter being 3 1/4" across. This set was obviously well commissioned using Danish hand painters and Bavarian porcelain artisians....A very nice ensemble.........

J.136. Very nice German military hospital patient porcelein drinking cup (Schnabeltasse) with the red Maltese red cross and gold gilt edging. The cup is in very good condition, the spout, handle and body show no chips, cracks or crazing. The cup has the style number 1242 on the bottom. Very rare and with nice construction...............

J.140. Very nice WWII German medical drink/feed hospital cup with spout and handle. The cup retains it's red Maltese red cross and is in very good original condition. The cup is large, with the bowl 4 1/4' across by 3 1/8" high. The cup and other German medical supplies were left by retreating German forces in the Orel/Kursk region of Russia. Fine condition.........

A very nice set of Adolf Hitler Berchtsgarden, Germany formal service linen consisting of six (6) 22 1/2" by 22 1/2" oyster white linen knapkins and one (1)matching design and cloth pattern 50 3/4" wide by 67 3/4" long linen table cloth. Each piece of formal linen has a heavily embroided pure white Reichskanlei eagle on swastika with A. H. initials to either side. All are in very good, clean and steam pressed condition. At the end of the war in the Pacific a returning career U.S. Army engineer officer war stationed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Many returning European theatre soldiers, at the same time, were being rotated and discharged through Fort Belvoir. It was discovered that many of the had returned with a treasure trove of Nazi plundered - most of which was confiscated and stored on Post by the Post authorities. In 1947 it was decided to raffle the items off to those stationed at Fort Belvior. The proceeds were to be used in support of the Ft. Belvoir on post children's school. These items were won by a Mrs. Harriet S. Gurski who passed away in 2003. These historical items were stored in the bottom of a cedar chest and were discovered and recovered by her adult son. The linen is quite rare. Most of their counterparts were either destroyed or re-used for other purposes and then eventually discarded. We want to keep them as a set and therefor offer them as one lot at.......

J.146. Very nice WW I German coffee cup set consisting of the saucer and matching cup. The set is made from porcelein, oyster white with both the saucer and cup finished in gold ring trim. The saucer is 6 1/4" across and is hall marked FWR3 332. The saucer has minute circular crazing. The cup's dimension's are 3 1/2" in diameter by 2 1/4" high. Centered on the cup's front is a 1914 Iron Cross First Class logo. The cup is in fine condition and is original to the saucer. A very nice patriotic home front set......................
