LOOK! LOOK! German Navy Petty Officers and Senior Petty officers were distinguished by wearing arm badges bearing a sea anchor with, in the case of a senior (chief) Petty officer's version, a chevron beneath the anchor. In addition an insignia showing the wearer's technical specialty was included on the patch. The arm patch was oval in shape with a dark blue background and was worn on the right arm. The arm patches we have to offer are the gilded metal type mounted on the oval dark navy blue cloth mounted on a metal backing plate. These were worn on a uniform jacket and on the pea jacket. SOLD! I.24. Sick berth petty officer (Sanitatsmaat), similar to a US Navy sick bay orderly: The anchor is slanted sideways (anchor bottom at 8:30 - anchor top at 2:30) with the entwining snake on the anchor cross bar. Patch cloth background and mounting in good condition. Most of the gilt on the medal insignia has worn off through the years. Another hard to find arm patch.........................................................$25. SOLD!

SOLD! I.40. Obergfreiter rank chevron with less than six years' service. Green mountain color cloth backing with two silver embroidered chevrons, one sewn within the other. Very nice item associated with the German mountain troops in Norway and Italy..............................$15. SOLD!

I.42. Reichsarbeitsdienst (National Labour Service) cap emblem, cloth version. This is a machine-woven cap badge featuring the blade of a inverted shovel with a centered swastika then set at an angle between two ears of wheat. This item is in mint condition....................................$30.

I.57. Very nice WWII German unused SS arm sleeve service insignia for Ausslanders (foreign personnel) serving in the SD (intelligence service/police). This is an original cloth emblem is very fine condition and is quite scarce...........................$ 150.

SOLD! I.88. Very nice single collar tab for an Luftwaffe Oberleutant serving in the paratroop troops. The insignia consists of two silver thread seagulls and a wreath hand sown on a wool base. The collar tab also has a silver cord lining. This is a original rank insignia for a dress uniform. SOLD! I.89. Very nice German WWII Luftwaffe uniform collar tab for a Hauptmann, flying/parachute troop. The collar tab has three woven silver thread seagulls and wreath and a silver cord lining, all mounted on a wool base. This original collar tab appears to be in unissued condition and comes from a former Luftwaffe pilot's collection. Very nice........................$75.SOLD!

The collar tab(s) have three silver thread seagulls and wreath and are silver cord lined on a blue wool base. The tabs appear to be in unissued condition, with one showing storage mothing at the top. SOLD! I.76. From the estate of a WWII veteran his uniform cloth insignia for the rank of major. The pair of insignia are in quite good condition and are a scare item.........$20.SOLD!

SOLD! I.77. Pair of brass rank insignia from an estate of a WWII veteran who attained the rank of Major while serving in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer in the Philippines. The metal insignia have the hall mark Meyer Metal with the same capital M for both words, then "Shold-R-Form" and then a shield crest underneath. The pin attachments are in good working order. SOLD! I.78. Very nice WWII metal U.S. Army overseas hat rank insignia of the rank of Major. The pin back attachment is in good condition and the insignia is hall marked AMICO. The rank insignia is from an engineer branch officer who served in the Philippines............................$20. SOLD!

The branch insignia are one inch wide and hall marked with a shield and Meyers Metal with the same M being used for both words with the word Metal being underneath the name Meyers.
