BCX-III, Inc.
BCX-III, Inc. founder Eric von Schilgen is an active scuba diver who developed an interest in wreck diving. After many recreational dives on sunken WWI & WWII Allied and enemy ships he began to accumulate many German and Japanese militaria items. Eric's militaria collecting eventually led to the founding of BCX-III, Inc. in 1993 when he ran out of space to store his military and nautical "finds". While disposing of excess antiques Eric quickly recognized the significant market that existed and began to buy and sell military and other "stuff" at antique shows and shops. Marketing through the Internet became a natural evolution in 1996.
Eric's long-time friend and former co-worker Ed Funk, a Photographer and teacher joined BCX in 1996 to assist in the Internet evolution. Ed built and maintains the web site.
